Project details:
Initial meeting:
We’ll start with an initial hour long meeting.
We’ll begin by connecting over phone or video so I can get to know you, your loved one and any stories you’d like to share about them.
At this meeting, I’ll have you share photographs or other special things about your loved one for me to include in my process of creating the print.
Draft and Written Agreement:
About 1 month following initial meeting, I’ll send you a draft of final piece along with a specific timeline and final cost in a written agreement for your signature.
Work on print will begin following return of signed written agreement and approval of draft.
Completed Work:
Expect receipt of final framed print and any package add-ons 2-3 months from return of signed written agreement and draft approval.
Payment Details:
Deposit of $150 required to schedule initial meeting.
Following initial meeting, timeline and final cost will be provided in a written agreement. Cost will not exceed $900 unless agreed upon variations from package details as listed above.
Half the final payment will be due with the return of agreement and draft approval.
Different print sizing or multiple colors of ink are an option, but will affect package price. Typically, my rate is $25/hour.
Final payment of outstanding balance required upon delivery of final package and add-ons.
This 2 color linocut was an edition of 22 prints. Christine was a charismatic, funny, adventurous young woman diagnosed with terminal cancer in her mid twenties. She was vivacious, optimistic and happened to love sunflowers -- a flower that reflected her personality well.
This 5 layer linocut was an edition of 8. It shows my late grandfather, Cyril, a gentle and content man.
This screen print was an homage to my mother. It shows the table, bowl and spoon she used to make bread for our family every Saturday morning when I was growing up. The bowl and spoon were her mother's and are things my siblings and I all hope to inherit someday.
This is a screen print of my mother, Vera "Beep" Klister. I wanted to memorialize her obituary in a more artistic way.
This small paper cut was made for a mother to honor a late term miscarriage.
